A print of an original acrylic painting of Au Train Falls. The original actually looks better than the scanned print came out. The original colors are less orange.
The Au Train Falls are located on the Au Train River just south of the Cleveland Cliffs basin on M94. The Upper Falls drop about 40� and the lower falls around 10�. In dry years the falls are just a trickle.
The easiest way to get to Au Train Falls is by taking Au Train Forest Lake Road South from M94. If you�re looking on the map you�ll find this road between M28 and Munising and Chatham to the West.
Au Train Falls is located about 10 miles Southwest of Munising off of H03. Be sure to explore the area here! It is very beautiful, and during seasons with high water, you can see the water running down the sides of the hills, and its seems to be coming out of nowhere at times.

My photographs are all actual photographs some of which have been "altered by photopainting" or manipulated for special effects on the computer rather than in the darkroom...
